Crocodile Explorer passengers now have an option to extend your time in the CBD to go shopping, explore the Esplanade or relax by the lagoon.

There will be no extra charge for this as coach transfers are included in the tour cost. This tour is ideal for families – we have a free Family Fun Package available for kids during the inlet cruise.

If you would like to visit DFO (Direct Factory Outlets), we can drop you there at the completion of the tour where you will have free time to shop and explore over 100 brands including Polo Ralph Lauren, Oroton, Guess, Converse, Quiksilver and Colorado; all up to 70% off original retail prices.

Upon presentation of your Crocodile Explorer boarding pass at DFO Centre Management (map on reverse), you will be issued with a ‘DFO exclusive discount card’ entitling you to a further 10% off (participating shops and food outlets) plus a DFO branded eco-friendly shopping bag.

If you choose to visit DFO, situated only 5 minutes from the CBD, it will be your responsibility to make your own way back to the Reef Fleet Terminal by 5pm.

A shuttle bus operates from DFO (Brown St) and will drop you off at bus stop #21 which is situated next to the lagoon and 1 minute walk from the Reef Fleet Terminal.

Crocodile Explorer now offers a free Family Fun Package to all children travelling. Inclusions are a tour of the wheelhouse, free drink, croc colouring in sheet and a Croc Explorer certificate. The certificate is ideal for kids to show their grandparents and friends or ’show & tell’ at school after their holiday.

Prebooking of these value adds are not necessary as the package will be offered to families on the day of travel.
